I presently teach Advanced Biology, Gifted Honors Biology and Biology 10.
I am also the "Enviromentor" sponsor and I have taught at Inteboro since 1995. I graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a BS in Biology and a MS in Education.
The Enviromentor Program incorporates environmental science into early childhood education. This program was implemented eleven years ago and it promotes environmental science education at the primary level. High school students mentor the Kindergarten students on a monthly basis with trips to the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge along with programs held at the Kindergarten Academy. The class of 2016 is the first class to have been mentored and some of these students have committed to continue with the promotion of Earth Stewardship as mentors. You can find these ecologically aware students in our enviromentor homeroom planning curriculum, kayaking on Darby Creek or maintaining schoolyard habitats in the district.
